Navy provides lifesaving and first aid training to youth at Rehabilitation Centre Madukanda, Vavuniya

The Sri Lanka Navy conducted a lifesaving and first aid training programme for youth in rehabilitation at Rehabilitation Centre Madukanda, Vavuniya. The programme was held from 20th to 30th August 2024.

As per a request made by the Sri Lanka Life Saving Association, the programme was conducted by Disster Management Training School of Rapid Action Boat Squadron (RABS) Headquarters, Gangewadiya in coordination with the Bureau of Commissioner General Rehabilitation. The objective of the initiative was to make an impact in the lives of rehabilitants in different ways.
