Playground stage renovated by Navy unveiled at Talaimannar Pier Vidyalayam

Commander North Central Naval Area, Rear Admiral Damian Fernando declared open a renovated playground stage at Talaimannar Pier Vidyalayam, Mannar today (12th August 2024). The Navy mustered its manpower and industrial expertise to renovate the stage, which was in dilapidated condition.

The facility, a long-felt need by the school, was developed as part of a significant project initiated by the Navy under the guidance of Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Priyantha Perera. This endeavour, made possible through the Navy’s efforts, was also supported by generous contributions from donors.

Religious dignitaries, teachers and students of the school as well as residents of the area were present on this occasion.
