Assistant Secretary North and South Asia of the Australian Department of Defence meets with Commander of the Navy

The Assistant Secretary North and South Asia of the Australian Department of Defence, Ms. Karen Radford met with the Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Priyantha Perera at the Navy Headquarters today (01st August 2024).

Upon her arrival at the Navy Headquarters, the Commander of the Navy warmly received the Assistant Secretary North and South Asia of the Australian Department of Defence. The ensuing cordial discussions focused on several matters of bilateral importance.

The formal interaction came to an end with an exchange of mementoes. The Chief of Staff of the Navy, Rear Admiral Pradeep Rathnayake, Director General Operations, Rear Admiral Nishantha Peiris, Naval Assistant to the Commander of the Navy, Rear Admiral Kosala Warnakulasooriya, senior officers from the Navy Headquarters, Defence Adviser of the Australian High Commission in Sri Lanka, Colonel Amanda Johnston and a group of officials from the Australian Department of Defence were present on this occasion.
