Several infrastructure facilities in North Central Naval Command declared open

In a significant boost to the capabilities and welfare of naval personnel, several new infrastructure facilities, made possible by industrial expertise and manpower of the Navy, were officially declared open by the Commander North Central Naval Area, Rear Admiral Damian Fernando on 22nd July 2024.

Accordingly, a junior sailors’ mess at Iranativu Naval Detachment belonging to SLNS Buwaneka, a galley at Valepadu Naval Deployment, a galley at Narivilakulam Naval Deployment in SLNS Pussadewa, a galley at Naval Deployment Pesalei in SLNS Gajaba and a junior sailors’ mess at SLNS Thammanna were declared open.
