Navy introduces first-of-its-kind Mobile Service Vehicle
In a ground breaking move to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery, the Sri Lanka Navy launched first-of-its-kind Mobile Service Vehicle in North Central Naval Command. The event was held under the patronage of Commander North Central Naval Area, Rear Admiral Damian Fernando at SLNS Thammanna on 27th June 2024.
Following the directives of the Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Priyantha Perera and under the supervision of Commander North Central Naval Area this initiative was undertaken by the Command Motor Engineering Department (NCC). This Mobile Service Vehicle will enable efficient and timely maintenance of vehicles assigned to the North Central Naval Command by traveling directly to various bases within the command henceforth.
Senior officers, Commanding Officers and a group of senior and junior sailors from the North Central Naval Command were also present on this occasion.
