Commodore Rohan Joseph assumed duties as Commandant Naval and Maritime Academy, Trincomalee on 30th May 2024. The Naval and Maritime Academy, famously known as NMA, is the premier training establishment of the Sri Lanka Navy.

In a continued effort under the Naval Social Responsibility (NSR) programme, the Navy organized a blood donation campaign at the Navy General Hospital, Welisara on 29th May 2024.
