Sea Vision Operator Course concludes on successful note

The Sea Vision Operator Course, organized by the Office of the Defence Cooperation of the Embassy of the United States to Sri Lanka, was successfully held at the Light House Galley in Colombo from 13th to 17th May 2024.

Sea Vision is a web-based Maritime Domain Awareness (MDA) tool that enables users to view and share a broad array of maritime information to enhance maritime operations, maritime security and build partnerships within the maritime community.

The training was participated by officers from the Sri Lanka Navy, Sri Lanka Air Force, Sri Lanka Coast Guard, Merchant Shipping Secretariat and Airport and Aviation Services of Sri Lanka.

The training modules were conducted by U.S. trainers of the Sea Vision Technical Assistance Field Team and certificates were distributed among the participants on successful completion.
