U.S. Ambassador to Sri Lanka meets with Commander Northern Naval Area

During her visit to the Northern Province, the U.S. Ambassador to Sri Lanka, H.E. Julie Chung met with the Commander Northern Naval Area, Rear Admiral Rohitha Abeysinghe at the Northern Naval Command Headquarters on 15th May 2024.

Upon her arrival, the visiting U.S. envoy was warmly welcomed to the Northern Naval Command by the Area Commander. Subsequently, they held cordial discussions on several matters of mutual interests. The cordial meeting culminated with an exchange of mementoes, signifying the importance of the occasion.

As part of this tour, the U.S. Ambassador took time off to visit the Nainativu and Delft Islands, with sea transportation provided by the Navy.
