Delegation of Pakistan National Defence University visits Navy Headquarters

A Pakistan National Defence University (NDU) delegation, currently in Sri Lanka as part of an overseas study tour, visited the Navy Headquarters and called on the Chief of Staff of the Navy, Rear Admiral Pradeep Rathnayake on 07th May 2024.

The NDU delegation which comprised 16 student officers was led by Air Cdre Faisal Fazal Muhammad Khan. The delegation that arrived in Sri Lanka on 05th May will be in the island until 10th May.

During this visit, the delegation members called on the Chief of Staff of the Navy, Rear Admiral Pradeep Rathnayake and exchanged views on several matters of general concern. The cordial discussion culminated with an exchange of mementoes.

In addition, the delegation members took part in a briefing made by the Chief of Staff, on the role and task of the Sri Lanka Navy. The Defence Adviser of the Pakistan High Commission in Colombo, Colonel Muhammad Farooq was also present on the occasion.
