Seven (07) officers ready for naval service after completing Basic Orientation Course
The Passing out Parade of 07 naval officers who successfully completed Basic Orientation Course was held at the main parade ground of the Naval and Maritime Academy (NMA), Trincomalee today (04th May 2024). The event was graced by Commandant NMA, Commodore Buddhika Liyanagamage, as the Chief Guest.
The event saw 05 medical officers, 01 dental officer and 01 electrical officer who followed Basic Orientation Course, marched off with pride and honour on completion of their training.
Addressing the new bunch of officers, the Chief Guest congratulated them on their achievement and expressed his gratitude to the parents of the officers for giving consent to their sons and daughters who joined the noble profession.
A group of senior and junior officers from the Eastern Naval Command as well as the parents of passed out officers were also present on this occasion.
