INS Kabra arrives in Colombo
The Indian Naval Ship (INS) Kabra arrived at the port of Colombo on a formal visit this morning (08th January 2024). The visiting ship was welcomed by the Sri Lanka Navy in compliance with naval traditions.
INS Kabra is a 50 – metre – long Water Jet Fast Attack Craft (WJFAC) which is manned by a crew of 55. The ship is commanded by Lieutenant Commander Ajith Mohan. He is expected to call on the Commander Western Naval Area and Commandant Volunteer Naval Force, Rear Admiral Saman Perera at the Western Naval Command Headquarters.
During the ship’s stay in Colombo, its crew members will visit some of the tourist attractions of the country. Concluding the visit, INS Kabra will leave the island on 10th January.
