High Commissioner of New Zealand pays farewell call on Commander of the Navy

The High Commissioner of New Zealand to Sri Lanka, H.E. Michael Appleton paid his farewell call on the Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Priyantha Perera at the Navy Headquarters today (29th December 2023).

Upon his arrival, the visiting High Commissioner was warmly welcomed by the Commander of the Navy, before they held a cordial discussion on several matters of bilateral importance. Moreover, Vice Admiral Priyantha Perera extended his gratitude to H.E. Michael Appleton for his assistance while serving as the High Commissioner of New Zealand to Sri Lanka, and conveyed best wishes for the outgoing envoy’s future endeavours.
