Navy's benevolence shines as blood donation camp held in Trincomalee in view of 73rd Anniversary

In commemoration of the 73rd Anniversary of the Sri Lanka Navy, a blood donation camp was successfully held at the Naval Hospital – Trincomalee on 01st December 2023.

Sri Lanka Navy has made arrangements to celebrate its 73rd Anniversary on 09th December, giving pride and place to social responsibility initiatives and religious programmes.

Following the directives of the Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Priyantha Perera and under the supervision of Commander Eastern Naval Area, Rear Admiral Suresh De Silva, this magnanimous programme had been organized.

The event proved to be a resounding success as naval personnel from the Eastern Naval Command generously contributed to the noble cause of saving lives through blood donation.
