Task Force on Combatting the Use of Poisonous and Dangerous Drugs convenes media conference

The Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Priyantha Perera who is also the Chairman - Task Force to Combat the Use of Poisonous and Dangerous Drugs briefed media on the crucial role of media in the ongoing mission of fostering public understanding of the issues surrounding poisonous and dangerous drugs. The press conference was held at the auditorium of Ministry of Mass Media on 29th November 2023.

The press conference convened, bringing together task force members and representatives from media organizations. On this occasion, there was an extensive discussion about formulating guidelines on utilizing the media when tackling matters related to poisonous and dangerous drugs.
