Navy assists the conduct of community clinic and health camp in Hindu Cultural Hall, Trincomalee

Sri Lanka Navy joined hands with the Lions Clubs of Trincomalee to conduct a community eye clinic and non-communicable diseases prevention programme at the Hindu Cultural Hall, Trincomalee on 22nd November 2023.

The Navy threw its weight behind this worthy cause at the directives of Commander of the Navy Vice Admiral Priyantha Perera and under the supervision of Commander Eastern Naval Area, Rear Admiral Suresh De Silva. During the programme, people were screened for non-communicable diseases, pre-non-communicable diseases. In addition, necessary individuals with vision impairment were donated spectacles.

The staff of Command Naval Hospital in the Eastern Naval Area as well as officials from the Lions Clubs of Trincomalee were also present on this occasion.
