Commander of the Navy hosts evening reception for officer of NDC Course

Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Priyantha Perera hosted a customary evening reception for the officers of the Course No 2 of National Defence College (NDC), Sri Lanka at the Western Naval Command Wardroom on 17th November 2023.

In conformity with time-honoured military traditions linked with National Defence Colleges across the world, the special event was hosted for the participants and faculty members of NDC, Sri Lanka. Upon their arrival, Commandant NDC, Major General Senarath Yapa and his spouse as well as NDC participants from the tri-services, faculty members and their spouses were warmly welcomed by Commander of the Navy and the President of Navy Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs Mala Lamahewa.

Signifying the importance of the occasion, Commander of the Navy posed for a group photograph with the officers of the current batch of NDC and presented them with souvenirs.

The occasion was also attended by the Chief of Staff of the Navy, Rear Admiral Jayantha Kularatne and a group of senior officers from the Navy Headquarters and Western Naval Command.
