Hospital Services Council Sri Lanka provides vital medical equipment to Navy General Hospital
In a generous gesture aimed at enhancing healthcare facilities, the Hospital Services Council of Sri Lanka today (11th August 2023) provided essential medical equipment to the Navy General Hospital in Welisara. The Sylvia Lanka Foundation and NHS Trust in the United Kingdom have provided this consignment of equipment to the social responsibility project being implemented under the patronage of Director of Hospital Services Council Sri Lanka, Ven. Rajawelle Subuthi Thera.
Local and foreign benefactors provide this medical equipment to the charitable initiative led by Ven. Rajawelle Subuthi Thera. Providing vital medical equipment to hospitals in Sri Lanka, through these charitable efforts, greatly enhances patient care and significantly aid in the advancement of healthcare facilities.
The Navy intends to distribute this medical equipment among the Navy General Hospital and other Command Naval Hospitals. Accordingly, the Navy will be able to deliver a better service to both serving and retired naval personnel and their family members.
Director Naval Medical Service Commodore AH Mullegama, a group of senior officers from the Western Naval Command and Welisara Naval Complex and sailors were present on this occasion.
