Commander of the Navy lauds Navy’s achievement in ‘BestWeb.lk 2023’

The awards ceremony of ‘BestWeb.lk 2023’ was held at the Monarch Imperial, Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte on 09th August 2023. At the ceremony, the Sri Lanka Navy received the gold and bronze awards won by the official website of Sri Lanka Navy in the Government Category and Overall Category respectively. The respective awards were presented to the Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Priyantha Perera at the Navy Headquarters today (10th August 2023).

Features such as, the convenience of navigation, standard, performance, website design, quantity and quality of content have been considered when recognizing the official website of Sri Lanka Navy with two awards. Having accepted the awards, the Commander of the Navy admired the achievement and appreciated Director Naval Information Technology, Director Naval Media, officers and sailors who were behind this success.
