Blood donation campaign successfully held in Southeastern Naval Command
As part of yet another Naval Social Responsibility initiative, a blood donation campaign was successfully held at the Command Hospital of Southeastern Naval Area on 18th May 2023.
In response to a request made by the Akkaraipattu Base Hospital, this magnanimous deed was conducted following the directives of Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Priyantha Perera with a view to replenish the blood stocks available at the Blood Bank of the hospital.
A large group of naval personnel from the Southeastern Naval Command came forward to donate blood voluntarily, making this endeavour a total success.
