Incoming and outgoing U.S. Naval Attachés call on Commander of the Navy

The current Naval Attaché at the U.S. Embassy in Colombo, Lieutenant Commander Richard Lister and his successor Lieutenant Commander Jessica De Mont today 19th May 2023 visited the Navy Headquarters for a farewell and introductory office call with the Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy, Vice Admiral Priyantha Perera.

After welcoming the visiting U.S. Naval Attachés at the Navy Headquarters, a cordial discussion was held between the two parties on several matters of bilateral importance.

During the official interaction, the Commander of the Navy expressed his appreciation for the dedication and service of the outgoing U.S. Naval Attaché, highlighting his valuable contributions in strengthening partnerships.

The cordial discussion drew to a close with an exchange of mementoes, as a symbol of goodwill and cooperation.
