CARAT-2023 brings musical extravaganza to Colombo

Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) 2023, the bilateral exercise hosted by the U.S. Pacific Fleet, got underway in Sri Lanka on 19th January 2023. As part of a series of public performances and exchanges between both partners, the bands of Sri Lanka Navy and the U.S. 7th Fleet brought a musical extravaganza to Colombo, where the first show was held at the premises of Colombo Lighthouse on the evening of 20th January.

The remaining appearances of the show will be at the Dutch Hospital-Colombo (on 21st January from 6.30 p.m. to 8.00 p.m.), Viharamahadevi Park (on 22nd January from 6.30 p.m. to 8.00 p.m.), Diyatha Uyana – Battaramulla (on 23rd January from 6.30 p.m. to 8.00 p.m.), Arcade Independence Square (on 24th January from 6.30 p.m. to 8.00 p.m.) and the final show at One Galle Face (on 25th January from 6.30 p.m. to 8.00 p.m.).
