Commander of the Navy pays courtesy call on State Minister of Defence

Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Priyantha Perera paid a courtesy call on the State Minister of Defence, Hon. Premitha Bandara Tennakoon at the State Ministry of National Security & Disaster Management today (30th December 2022).

In this first formal courtesy call, Hon. Premitha Bandara Tennakoon extended best wishes to Vice Admiral Priyantha Perera for his well-deserved appointment as the 25th Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy. During the ensuing discussion, Commander of the Navy pledged the fullest cooperation of the Navy in the matters of national interests and exchanged views on general matters of concern.
