NMA launches her first ever annual journal; the Porthole

The Naval and Maritime Academy (NMA), Trincomalee launched her first ever professional publication named ‘The Porthole’ an annual journal. Commandant NMA, Commodore Damian Fernando officially presented the first journal copy to the Commander of the Navy Vice Admiral Priyantha Perera at the Navy Headquarters on 29th December 2022.

The Porthole 2022 being the first edition, was named under the theme of ‘ Economic Prosperity and Security through the Ocean’.

The journal comprises articles written by officer instructors, student officers, officer under trainees, sailor instructors and sailor under trainees of NMA.
