This yoga training programme, carried out under the directives of Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Nishantha Ulugetenne and guidance of Commander Southern Naval Command, aims to improve strength, balance and flexibility of persons who engage in such exercises. The programme is willingly participated by a group of naval personnel from SLNS Ruhuna, SLNS Dakshina, SLNS Nipuna and SLNS Kawantissa in the Southern Naval Command. Instead of physical exercises, yoga exercises are done one day a week in the morning.
