Rear Admiral Priyantha Perera appointed as Deputy Chief of Staff of the Navy

Rear Admiral Priyantha Perera was appointed as the Deputy Chief of Staff of Sri Lanka Navy with effect from 21st June 2022.

Accordingly, Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Nishantha Ulugetenne handed over the letter of appointment in this regard to newly appointed Deputy Chief of Staff at the Navy Headquarters on 21st June. In addition to the appointment as Deputy Chief of Staff of the Navy, he will continue to discharge duties as Commander Northern Naval Area as well.
