44th edition of ‘Sayurusara’ launched

The 44th edition of the ‘Sayurusara’ Magazine published by the Sri Lanka Navy Media was presented to the Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Nishantha Ulugetenne by the Chief Editor of the magazine, Lieutenant Commander (VNF) SR Sudusinghe at the Navy Headquarters today (31st March 2022).

Sri Lanka Navy Media publishes the magazine biannually with the aim of cultivating the reading and writing habits among naval personnel and to create a platform for the penmen in the organization to explore their potential. It also includes a wide range of articles written on Naval Social Responsibility initiatives and important events of the Sri Lanka Navy.

Similarly, the latest edition of Sayurusara’ includes articles written on a variety of themes as well as collection of texts, poems, paintings and photographs produced by naval personnel and their family members.
