Navy joins hands with National Agricultural Home Garden Development Programme ‘Haritha Deyak’ - 2022

Coinciding with the National Agricultural Home Garden Development Programme ‘Haritha Deyak’ – 2022, Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Nishantha Ulugetenne initiated a cultivation programme in Sri Lanka Navy by planting a sapling at Navy Headquarters today (29th March 2022).

Involving people in promoting domestic cultivation as a national policy, this initiative was set in motion today (29th March). In parallel with the National Agricultural Home Garden Development Programme, similar events were held in each Naval Command, under the directives of Commander of the Navy.
