Commander Southeastern Naval Area conducts guest lecture at National Defence College

Commander Southeastern Naval Area, Rear Admiral Pradeep Rathnayake conducted a guest lecture to the officers of course no. 1 of the National Defence College (NDC), Colombo on 25th November 2021.

NDC is the highest seat of education in the military and was established to groom highly qualified strategic decision-makers in the tri-services, Police and public service. The new facility was declared open under the auspices of His Excellency the President, Gotabaya Rajapaksa and with the attendance of the Secretary Defence and tri-service Commanders on 11th November.

At the invitation of Commandant NDC, Major General (Retd) Amal Karunasekara, Commander Southeastern Naval Area conducted this guest lecture on “Strategy and Policy Analysis of Archidamian War” to 25 senior officers of the tri-services and Police, belonging to the NDC’s course no.1.
