43rd edition of ‘Sayurusara’ launched

The 43rd edition of the ‘Sayurusara’ Magazine published by the Navy Media was presented to the Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Nishantha Ulugetenne by the Chief Editor of the magazine, Lieutenant Commander (VNF) SR Sudusinghe at the Navy Headquarters today (17th August 2021).

The Navy Media publishes the magazine biannually with the aim of cultivating the reading and writing habits among naval personnel and to create a platform for the penmen in the organization to explore their potential. It also includes a wide range of articles written on Naval Social Responsibility initiatives and important events of the Sri Lanka Navy.

Similarly, the latest edition of Sayurusara’ includes narratives of Sri Lanka Navy’s involvement to the Humanitarian Operation, Naval Social Responsibility initiatives and a collection of texts produced by naval personnel.
