Navy keeps on with COVID-19 vaccination drive

Working hand in hand with the national vaccination efforts being conducted by the Armed Forces, inoculating the general public to control the COVID-19 pandemic, Sri Lanka Navy medical personnel administered the public with Sinopharm vaccine at the Lighthouse premises on Chaithya Road Colombo today (11th August 2021).

As such, more than 21122 people over 30 years of age have received their first and second jabs of the Sinopharm vaccine from the COVID-19 vaccination centres run by the Sri Lanka Navy, during the past 03 days alone.

The inoculation proceedings have been arranged adhering to the COVID-19 protocols in force due to pandemic concerns. Meanwhile, the navy-manned COVID-19 vaccination centre at the Lighthouse premises on Chaithya Road will be open tomorrow (12th August) as well.
