Navy assists COVID-19 inoculation in Western Province

Continuing the COVID-19 vaccination drive focusing on the civilians over 30 years of age in the Western Province, Sri Lanka Navy administered the Sinopharm vaccine at the Lighthouse premises on Chaithya Road Colombo, Elapitiwela Chandrawansha Vidyalaya in Ragama as well as St Mary's Maha Vidyalaya, Uswetakeiyawa today (06th July 2021).

Meanwhile, the Navy is to conduct the inoculation only at the Lighthouse premises on Chaithya Road Colombo tomorrow (07th July 2021). Accordingly, the general public over 30 years of age in the Western Province are eligible to receive the first jab of Sinopharm vaccine from the Community Vaccination Centre on Chaithya Road Colombo and those who already have received their first dose of Sinopharm vaccine may receive the second dose from the above centre as well.
