Newly appointed Director General Coast Guard calls on Commander of the Navy

Rear Admiral Anura Ekanayake, newly appointed Director General of the Sri Lanka Coast Guard called on Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Nishantha Ulugetenne at the Navy Headquarters today (02nd November 2020).

During the ensuing meeting they held a cordial discussion on matters of mutual interest and it also turned out to be the first official interaction between Rear Admiral Ekanayake and Vice Admiral Ulugetenne, upon his assumption of duties as Director General of the Sri Lanka Coast Guard. Commander of the Navy also expressed his best wishes to the incumbent Director General of the Sri Lanka Coast Guard for successful execution of his entrusted duty.

Marking the significance of this occasion, mementoes were also exchanged between them.
