Rear Admiral Sumith Weerasinghe assumes office as Deputy Chief of Staff

Rear Admiral Sumith Weerasinghe who was appointed as the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Navy, on 22nd September 2020, assumed duties at his office, today (29th September 2020).

Accordingly, in a brief ceremony held at the Navy Headquarters, giving prominence to religious rituals, Rear Admiral Weerasinghe formally assumed the duties of his new position. This special occasion was also attended by his beloved wife Mrs. Kumari Weerasinghe.
