SLNS Rangalla proudly celebrates 53rd anniversary

The 53rd anniversary of SLNS Rangalla was celebrated on a grand note on 09th September 2020.

The anniversary celebrations had been organized with a range of activities befitting to the naval traditions and giving prominence to religious practices by the ship’s crew under the guidance of the Commanding Officer. Upholding rich naval traditions an inspection of divisions was held on the same day morning, before the Commanding Officer’s address to the ship’s complement.

In keeping with naval customs, a sumptuous ‘Barakana’ (traditional meal), was also partaken by the ship’s crew with the attendance of the Commanding Officer.
