Rear Admiral Fred Senaviratne today (25^th August 2020) retired from naval service, upon completion of his distinguished career spanning over 33 years in the Navy.

Senior Colonel Wan Dong, the Defence Attaché of the Embassy of People's Republic of China in Sri Lanka paid a courtesy call on Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Nishantha Ulugetenne at the Navy Headquarters today (24^th August 2020).
