Captain Sanjeewa Kathriarachchi assumes duties as new Commanding Officer of SLNS Suranimila

Captain Sanjeewa Kathriarachchi assumed duties as the new Commanding Officer of the Sri Lanka Navy's Fast Missile Vessel (FMV) SLNS Suranimila, today (15^th July 2020).

The former Commanding Officer of SLNS Suranimila Captain Sanjeewa Premarathna officially handed over the command of the ship onboard the vessel. Deputy Area Commander Western Naval Area Commodore Bandula Senarathna was also present on the handing over ceremony held at the SLNS Rangalle premises. The occasion came to a close with the inspection of divisions by the new Commanding Officer.
