Commander Sampath Amarasinghe assumes command of SLNS Wickrama II

Commander Sampath Amarasinghe assumed duties as Commanding Officer of SLNS Wickrama II on 30^th June 2020.

Accordingly, the former Commanding Officer of the ship, Commander Dilum Thisera formally handed over the duties of the position to its new Commanding Officer at the Naval Dockyard in Trincomalee. Commodore Sea Training, Commodore Uditha Kasiwaththa also attended at the occasion.

The proceedings of the event came to a close after an inspection of divisions by the new Commanding Officer.
