Rear Admiral Bandara Jayathilake assumes duties as the Flag Officer Commanding the Naval Fleet

Rear Admiral Bandara Jayathilake assumed duties as the Flag Officer Commanding the Naval Fleet, on 26^th June 2020.

His predecessor, Rear Admiral Upul De Silva formally handed over the duties of the position to Rear Admiral Bandara Jathilake at the Naval Fleet HQ located at Naval Dockyard, Trincomalee

The incoming Flag Officer Commanding the Naval Fleet was accorded a Guard of Honour and warmly received to the Naval Fleet and a similar formation followed suit to honour Rear Admiral Upul De Silva after he was congratulated by fellow officers of Naval Fleet.
