Navy-constructed multipurpose building declared open in Jaffna

A navy-constructed ‘multipurpose building’ was declared open at Nagarkovil West Grama Niladhari Division on 22^nd June 2020.

Going by the directives of Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Piyal De Silva, this project was carried out as part of a Naval Social Responsibility initiative. The construction work was conducted utilizing skilled manpower of Northern Naval Command, under the supervision of Deputy Chief of Staff and Commander Northern Naval Area, Rear Admiral Kapila Samaraweera.

Meanwhile, the local populace extended their gratitude to Commander of the Navy and all naval personnel for extending assistance for the construction of this multipurpose building. The occasion was also attended by District Secretary Jaffna, state officials and a group of senior officers.
