New Commandant of Police Special Task Force calls on Navy Commander

The newly appointed Commandant of the Police Special Task Force (STF), Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Waruna Jayasundara called on Commander of the Navy Vice Admiral Piyal De Silva at the Naval Headquarters today (23^rd June 2020).

The Navy Commander warmly welcomed the new Commandant of the Police Special Task Force to the Naval Headquarters and this was the first official meeting between them after DIG Waruna Jayasundara assumed office as Commandant of the Police Special Task.

The Navy Commander expressed best wishes to DIG Waruna Jayasundara on his well-deserved appointment and mementoes were also exchanged to mark the importance of this occasion.
