Forty five (45) naval personnel tested negative to COVID-19 discharged from hospitals-Recovered number goes up 608

Another forty five (45) naval personnel infected with coronavirus and underwent treatment in hospital, were discharged from the hospital being tested negative to COVID-19, on 09^th June 2020.

These naval personnel who were identified positive to coronavirus, had been admitted to hospitals. Out of these forty five, 35 persons in Naval General Hospital and 10 persons in Homagama hospital, were under treatment. Since, these sailors found negative to COVID-19 on the reports of random PCR tests done under treatment, they were discharged on 09^th June 2020.

As of now, including these 45 naval personnel, 608 naval personnel out of the total number of infected ones, have been discharged from hospitals after tested negative to COVID-19. Further, these discharged naval personnel were directed to keep under quarantine for another 14 days following the healthcare instructions.
