Thirty five (35) naval personnel tested negative to COVID-19 discharged from hospitals-Recovered number goes up 488

Another thirty five (35) naval personnel infected with coronavirus and underwent treatment in hospital, were discharged from the hospital being tested negative to COVID-19, on 06^th June 2020.

These naval personnel who were identified positive to coronavirus, had been admitted to hospitals. Out of these thirty five, 14 persons in Homagama hospital, 13 in Kaththankudy hospital, 07 persons in Minuwangoda hospital and 01 person in IDH hospital, were under treatment. Since, these sailors found negative to COVID-19 on the reports of random PCR tests done under treatment, they were discharged on 06^th June 2020.

As of now, including these 35 naval personnel, 488 naval personnel out of the total number of infected ones, have been discharged from hospitals after tested negative to COVID-19. Further, these discharged naval personnel were directed to keep under quarantine for another 14 days following the healthcare instructions.
