Navy holds locally made gun

A locally made gun was held by Navy during a search conducted at Achchanakulam area in Mannar, on 03^rd June 2020.

SL Navy constantly carries out search operations to prevent illegal activities, considered a national responsibility. Accordingly, on 3^rd June 2020, a locally made gun which was hidden in a shrubby area was recovered, during a search conducted by the naval personnel of North Central Naval Command, at Achchanakulam area in Mannar. The gun was taken into naval custody.

The recovered locally made gun, was handed over to Murukkan Police for further investigation.
