Twenty two (22) naval personnel tested negative to COVID-19 discharged from hospitals-Recovered number goes up 388
Another twenty two (22) naval personnel infected with coronavirus and underwent treatment in hospitals, were discharged from the hospitals being tested negative to COVID-19, on 29th May 2020.
These naval personnel who were identified positive to coronavirus, were admitted to hospitals for treatment. Out of these twenty two, 13 persons in Homagama hospital, 05 persons in Mulleriyawa hospital, 02 persons in Minuwangoda Hospital, 01 person in IDH hospital and another 01 person in Naval General Hospital, were under treatment. Since, these sailors found negative to COVID-19 on the reports of random PCR tests done under treatment, they were discharged on 29th May 2020.
As of now, including these 22 naval personnel, 388 naval personnel out of the total number of infected ones, have been discharged from hospitals after tested negative to COVID-19. Further, these discharged naval personnel were directed to keep under quarantine for another 14 days following the healthcare instructions.
