Sri Lankans in Myanmar donate a stock of PPE to Navy
Extending their supportive hand to the programmes conducted by the Navy for controlling the spread of coronavirus, Sri Lankans in Myanmar donated a stock of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worth about Rs. 350000/= to the Navy.
This stock of PPE was sent to Sri Lanka free of charge on a request of Sri Lankan Embassy in Myanmar, by a flight of Myanmar Airways International which was specially arranged for Sri Lankans returning from Myanmar.
The stock is consists of 25 Personal Protective Equipment, 6000 surgical facemasks and 1500 face shields.
