Thai-Sri Lanka Buddhist Cultural Center facilitates Navy as an Isolation Center for naval personnel
The Thai-Sri Lanka Buddhist Cultural Center managed by Ven. Rassagala Seewali Thero, has been provided as an isolation center for naval personnel engaged in the arresting campaigns of coronavirus.
In response to a request of Commander of the Navy Vice Admiral Piyal De Silva, this Thai-Sri Lanka Buddhist Cultural Center which is situated in a land at Heiyanthuduwa, Mabima owned by Ven. Rassagala Seewali Thero, was provided to be used as a isolation center for the naval personnel who recovered from infection of coronavirus and before they join in normal naval duties. This facility was opened for the Navy from 01st May 2020 and already 72 naval personnel are spending their isolation period there.
In this hour of need, the worthy assistance extended by Ven. Rassagala Seewali Thero, is highly commended by the Navy.
