Other ten naval personnel tested negative to COVID-19 discharged from hospitals

Other ten (10) coronavirus infected naval personnel who were under treatment in hospitals, were discharged being tested negative to COVID-19, on 12^th May 2020.

All these naval personnel being tested positive to coronavirus, were admitted to hospitals for treatment. This group was under treatment as 07 persons in Homagama hospital, 02 persons in Mulleriyawa Hospital and 01 other person in IDH hospital. Since, these sailors found negative to COVID-19 on the reports of random PCR tests done under treatment, they were discharged on 12th May 2020.

Accordingly, including these 10 persons, 62 naval personnel have been discharged from hospitals after tested negative to COVID-19. Further, these discharged naval personnel were directed to be kept under quarantine for another 14 days following the healthcare instructions
