Ten SL Navy personnel on Indian training courses arrive Sri Lanka onboard Indian war ship
With the termination of their courses, ten (10) SL Navy personnel who were following training courses in India, arrived to the Southern seas of Sri Lanka onboard an Indian war ship. Thereafter, SL Navy took the returning persons aboard a Fast Attack Craft and accompanied them to the Galle harbour, today (11th May 2020).
In a backdrop where the international flights between Sri Lanka and India have been stopped due to the coronavirus epidemic, INS Sharda belongs to the Indian Navy brought this group of Sri Lankan Naval personnel to the Southern seas and they were accompanied to the Galle harbour by a Fast Attack Craft attached to the Southern Naval Command.
These disembarked naval personnel who underwent a complete disinfection following the all healthcare precautions were directed for a 21 days quarantine period.
