Navy receives a stock of face masks from civilians of Ragama area
The resident civilians in Ragama area donated a stock of face masks to the Sri Lanka Navy, in support of its efforts to control the spread of new coronavirus in the country, today (09th May 2020).
In view of marking their gratitude to the Sri Lanka Navy for the protection and social responsibility activities extended by the Navy during the Easter Sunday attack, the well-wishers of unit 02,03 of the Catholic Death Donation and Welfare Association in Thewatta road, affiliated to the St. Peter and Paul church-Ragama, donated this stock of face masks.
This kind of supportive donations must be appreciated in a backdrop the country has to work together in strong bound. On behalf of the Sri Lanka Navy, the officers who took over the donation, expressed their gratitude to the representatives of Catholic Death Donation and Welfare Association in Thewatta road-Ragama.
