Navy receives bottled water and water dispensers from Leesons Hospital and Manusath Derana

The Leesons Hospital Pvt Ltd. in collaboration with Manusath Derana donated a stock of bottled water and water dispensers to the Sri Lanka Navy, to be used in programmes which are in place to control the spread of coronavirus in the country. The donation was made at the Naval Headquarters today (02nd May 2020).

The Navy is receiving material support from various agencies and organizations for the programmes being undertaken by the Navy to control the spread of COVID-19 in the country. It is in this backdrop, the Navy has been provided with a range of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) on numerous occasions by Manusath Derana Programme. As an extension of this magnanimous effort, the Leesons Hospital Pvt Ltd. joined hands with Manusath Derana to make this latest donation to the Navy today. The Chairman of the Leesons Hospital, staff members of the hospital and Manusath Derana were also present on the occasion.

Meanwhile, Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Piyal De Silva, receiving the stock of aids to the Navy, expressed his gratitude to the Chairman of the Leesons Hospital and staff members of both hospital and Manusath Derana for continuously engaging in charitable efforts of this nature.
